Forage Balancer® – Winter Crop

Forage Balancer® – Winter Crop delivers essential nutrition to keep your herd healthy and during the challenging winter months. This loose lick provides the critical vitamins, minerals as well as rumen protection your cows need when feeding on winter crops like beet and kale.

Forage Balancer® – Winter Crop contains Ruminate's unique pH buffering product to help protect your cow's rumen when high levels of sugar or starch are present in the diet. Both beet and kale are high in sugar, making this buffering absolutely essential for maintaining rumen health and feed efficiency.

It’s so easy to use.

Simply pour the correct amount into a long open trough. You can use PK trailers, culvert pipes cut in half, make your own with timber or buy ready made troughs.

The key is to have lots of space for easy access, we recommend 30 – 50 cm for cattle and 5 – 10cm for sheep.

Ideally you would put out a daily dose but in situations where you're not there daily, like runoffs for example, you can put out 2 – 3 days at a time.
