Sick Bay® Electrolytes is a powder electrolyte supplement formulated to replace lost fluids and electrolytes, correct metabolic acidosis, and provide both fast and long-acting energy sources during severe scours and heavy distress.
It's designed for individual animal treatment, suited to those in the sick pen, or administered across a wider group if multiple animals are heavily distressed or scouring severely, supplementing energy lost whether the cause is an infectious agent or a nutritional imbalance.
Use it to rehydrate, restore lost electrolytes, and support recovery whenever an animal needs more than routine care.
This product is an oral nutritional compound compliant with the ACVM Act 2011 S2.
FEED GUIDE
CALVES
- Mix one scoop of Sick Bay (185g) into 2L of warm water.
- Ensure solution is well mixed.
- Feed 2 to 3 times per day for heavily distressed or severe scours.
- Continue with milk feeds leaving 2 hours between milk and electrolytes to avoid volume overload.
LAMBS / KIDS
- Mix 20g of Sick Bay into 200ml of warm water.
- Ensure solution is well mixed.
- Feed 2 to 3 times per day for heavily distressed or severe scours.
- Continue with milk feeds leaving 2 hours between milk and electrolytes to avoid volume overload.
