We start by understanding how your farm works as a whole.
That includes looking at:
- your farm system and goals
- stock class and stage of production
- pasture, supplements, and feeding approach
- current challenges such as condition loss, calf growth, transition pressure, poor production response, mineral issues, or animal health concerns
2. We review your current feeding programme on farm
Your session is supported by Doc Taylor, Ruminate’s proprietary nutrition software.
Doc Taylor helps us analyse the diet in more detail to show:
- where overspend may be happening
- where key minerals and vitamins may be missing from the feeds being used
- whether the current programme matches the animal’s stage of production
- how different diet options compare on both cost and nutritional fit

5. We stay alongside you as the plan rolls out
The session does not stop when we leave the farm.
You’ll have ongoing support from your Ruminate Nutrition Specialist by phone and email, so you can ask questions, check progress, and get help as things unfold.
We’ll also rebook your next free session in 4–6 weeks to review how the plan is working in action and make any adjustments needed.
